OUR STORY
Our family legacy was founded in 1952 by our forefather, who came to Rishikesh for meditation and opened a small store offering products related to spirituality, healing, & meditation.
In 2016, the shop was rebranded as Emporio Emerald, located in the Yoga Capital of the World, Rishikesh, India. Emporio Emerald is known as an Emporium of Handicrafts and Gemstones jewelry hub. It houses a variety of precious stones like diamonds, rubies, emeralds, among others.
What has remained constant over those years is an uncompromising passion for quality, immaculate craftsmanship & lasting values.
Our Mission
Our each piece is completely unique exhibiting the incredible skills, culture, heritage and creativity of those who make them. We travel extensively, constantly seeking out new products as well as personally selecting only the best pieces to take home, paying attention to the details. We take pride in ourselves on the diversity of the stock we carry and endeavor. All the products we sell are authentic and original editions. Many of our designs originate from artisan traditions in places such as our country India which is rich in art and culture , Nepal, Indonesia, Tibet, Thailand, and several other world regions.
With the incredible response to our brick and mortar shop , we realized we had created an opportunity to support artisans, to support themselves and their families with improved livelihoods. So here we are introducing our online store to continue supporting our artisans during pandemic by make products available online to all of you around the globe!
Social Mission
Here at emporio emerald, we highly lookout for promoting mental wellbeing, self love and kindness. Specially in these difficult time in pandemic. We're now on a journey to extending this mission, ready to tackle the stigma against mental illnesses. We believe that there's space in our hearts for compassion, for consolation, for conversation to hold each other by being there for each other.

Commitment to Sustainability
We are committed to walking the path alongside social and environmental responsibility. Recycled paper and steel box are used for all packaging. And always make sure we take care of the goods that can be easily recycled or used for other useful purposes. We are highly engaged in keeping our planet clean, specially our rivers.
We earned a reputation of being good at what we do. We are proud of the work that we have done and we have big aspirations for the work that we will do in the future. Our goals are simple and we believe by keeping them simple we can stay focused in our efforts to achieve them.
